Store and sync your warranty, home inventory, and maintenance data

AI-Powered Features

Sustain uses AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to provide features such as warranty lookups, product identification from photos, maintenance plan generation, and chat-based claim assistance. When you use these features:

Your product information and photos are sent to Anthropic's API for processing
AI-generated results (warranty details, product identification, maintenance tasks) are stored in your account
Chat conversations with the AI assistant are stored for your reference
We do not use your data to train AI models

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud platform with enterprise-grade security. All data is:

Encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL
Stored in secure, access-controlled databases
Photos stored in private, authenticated storage buckets
Accessible only to you through your authenticated account

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Supabase — Database, authentication, and file storage
Anthropic (Claude AI) — AI-powered features (warranty lookup, product identification, chat assistant, maintenance recommendations)
Sentry — Crash reporting and error monitoring
Firebase Analytics — App usage analytics
Expo / EAS — App build and update services

These services have their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

Shared Product Database

When you look up warranty or product information, the results may be saved to a shared database to help other users find the same information faster. This shared data includes only general product information (product name, brand, typical warranty length, coverage details) and never includes your personal data, purchase details, serial numbers, or photos.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes. Your personal data is only shared with the third-party services listed above as necessary to provide App functionality.

Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

Access your data — All your data is visible within the App
Delete individual items — Remove any warranty, home item, or maintenance task at any time
Delete your account — Use the "Delete Account" feature in Settings to permanently remove your account and all associated data, including warranties, home inventory, maintenance tasks, chat history, photos, and referral information
Opt out of notifications — Disable push notifications in Settings
Contact us — Request information about your data or ask questions

Children's Privacy

Sustain is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the "Last updated" date above. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
